Two Bulls are proud to announce our involvement in the Victorian Government’s Augmented Reality Pilot Program, commencing Friday 24 June 2016. This exciting program brings together regional schools and education providers, local industry and government, to create Augmented Reality experiences.
This pilot brings together a range of education providers and businesses to tackle the current and future skills needs and shortages in the ICT workforce. In conjunction with Baw Baw Latrobe LLEN and Federation University Australia Gippsland Campus, Two Bulls will help provide educational providers in the region with the skills and tools they need to teach students about Augmented Reality.
On Friday 24th July 2016, Two Bulls Software Developer Michael Ensly will be running a one-day workshop to up-skill educators from the Gippsland region. This workshop will cover the basics of Augmented Reality, it’s uses and limitations, as well as delving into the development of Augmented Reality. Educators in the region will then be running workshops with students over the coming weeks to teach Augmented Reality basics to students from Lowanna Secondary College and Lavalla Catholic College.
